Ben HoskynsBorn in 1963, Ben spent most of his childhood in Suffolk, where he now to lives and works. A professional artist since 1988 he has exhibited widely in both Britain and on the Continent and has developed into one of the country's most respected and admired painters of British wildlife. He has twice been commissioned to produce the paintings for the Game Conservancy's Annual Review and was awarded the honour of producing a painting for the 2006 Wildlife Habitat Trust UK's Habitat Conservation Stamp. He wrote and illustrated Holland & Holland's 'The Nature of Game' and has illustrated numerous other publications. His work has also been used for Christmas cards by the Game Conservancy Trust and The Countryside Alliance. Ben has recently produced 2 books in collaboration with some of the country’s other leading wildlife artists. The first being ‘The Woodcock, Artists’ Impressions’, and followed in 2007 by ‘The Grouse, Artists’ Impressions’, both published by Swan Hill Press.
